The likelihood of a bounced email "because of a big attachment" has dropped tremendously if you are using Gmail. Although sending emails over 25MB with this client is still impossible.
Even though SMTPeter does not restrict you in any way, most clients are still not accepting large emails. However it is nice to see that the boundaries of email are constantly being pushed.
Google announced that this feature is already rolled out for all end users.
